Re: Some Questions...

The first time I thawed a mouse I thawed it under a heat lamp and cooked it. Stunk up the bedroom but good. Lesson learned. Anyone else ever do that or is it just me?

Did that this week, forgot a mouse and 2 pinks in a feeding tub.... feeding day is monday, I remembered friday. House still smells like rotting mouse. Except for the kitchen, kitchen smells like salmon/pinky mousse.

Re: Some Questions...

I have a 2 1/2 gallon bucket i fill half way with scalding hot tap water. Let them sit in there for about 3 hour drain and fill again. (These way i know their thawed all the way.) After 5 to ten minutes i pull them out and feed. By the time i get to my borneo cage the other have wrap around their food. With in 15 minutes their all done, but my Borneo i have to leave it in over night.
