Cheers, she really friendly too, not nervous at all. The only thing that makes her a little difficult to handle is her strength, she is just immensley strong!

people who do things like this make me sick with rage, they are nothing short of being complete scumbags.makes it all the worse it might be a fellow snake keeper.there was a guy on a uk forum just before xmas trying to track down £28,000 of high end boa's.they were stolen from his custom made snake house in his garden.poor guy took a lifetime to build his collection, then some scumbag goes and does that.sorry for ranting but it really gets to me that people can be like that.

feebo thats one monster of a brb.definately the biggest ive seen and pretty with it.
cheers shaun

Re: Cirano, my Brazilian Rainbow Boa

Cheers I cleaned her out the other day so I had to put her in a four foot spare tank for ten minutes, she hardly fitted in there ! lol I bet she`ll produce a big clutch when I breed her with Jaffa

Re: Cirano, my Brazilian Rainbow Boa

I do believe by measuring length of a shed is false as i have read a tested this and on average your snakes are about 17% longer from the streching when shedding. The best way of measuring is using the program herpmeasure, you can download it for free. All you have to do is get your snake flat and a ruler next to it in a photo, then calibrate the program for an exact length.
Lovely female and great male you will produe some absolute stunners with that pairing.
Best of luck in the coming years

Re: Cirano, my Brazilian Rainbow Boa

I`ve not bred them yet EmseeKAY and I won`t be for a couple of years so I haven`t looked into it at all yet. Going on my general knowledge of snakes I`d say you`d want a good weight, nice and stocky and at least five feet for the female, four for the male. I`m going to have to look it up now and see if I`m even close with that lol
