it makes me look like I'm 12 not 16, which I am. She can get into movies that I can't, and whenever we go anywhere everybody says to her "oh is that your younger sister?".
Kenny--it'll seem strange when you're 28 and you get carded when you try to order wine in a restaurant, but when you're 40 or 50, you'll LOVE looking younger than your age! I promise!

Kyle, your GF, son, and snake are all great lookers! and you're not so bad yourself!

Why, thanks, Kyle! It's always nice to know I've been missed! (I hope that was in a good way!)

I've been working on my book. My brain is practically dead. I have 70 pages of references I need to go through for accuracy & I'm tired!

Enough whining! I'll hit a couple more posts & then get back to work.

Anyway--yeah, it sucks when people think you're a kid and you're not, but it really does NOT suck when you're 40 or 50 and people think you're in your 20s or 30s! I really enjoy NOT looking my age nowadays! (My kids had fun with it when they were teenagers--they loved to ask people to guess my age! It was pretty strange.)

Oh, gosh, you don't really want to know--it's about infant feeding, not about snakes!

Re: Shed Question??

hey got another question. my brb ate three rat pinks today to get rid of the rest of them and she hasn't eaten for 15 days so she got a big meal. Well here is my "problem" my brb ate all three and then just kinda layed in the open for about 5 mins and she usually goes straight into her hide. but then she slowly crawled under her moss and then tonight she was out of the moss and on top of her hide. so she is actually kinda active. she has never ever been active after eating and i've never heard of a snake being active the night that it ate. she ate around 5 and it is now midnight and she has been out since like 1030 it's really weird. is she just that comfortable with her surroundings and stuff or is she not happy or whatever?

- Of course I will. I'm waiting for those years so I can bug my sister about looking old. I was at an interview for a job and when I sat down they told me I couldn't apply for the job because I was too young and I had to explain that I wasn't 14 I am 16 and show them proof of it. oh well, I got the job though! =D

Hmmm Kyle, I'm really not sure what it could be. See, my BP still hasn't eaten so I'm not really sure what to say... sorry

Kenny

Re: Shed Question??

Hey, Kyle--when your BRB got on top of her hide, was she getting closer to a heat source? After eating a lot, she might have felt a need for more warmth to help her digest her meal.

My BP once ate 5 mouse pinkies (months ago when he was only about 17" long, and it was a huge amount of food for him, about 20% of his body weight). After the last one he just dropped his head down and didn't move for awhile. It was if he was groaning and saying, "OMG, I can't believe I ate so much! I'm stuffed!" Then, when I put him back in his enclosure, he slowly crawled onto the part over his UTH and just stayed there for a day or so. It was really funny!
