What needs to be done is word needs to get out that ssnakess.com is not the site it was when the owners and mods put it in the crapper. The reputation of this site is junk right now, a non-entity in the reptile community. As mods/webmasters, it's your job to pick it up and brush it off.

I could not agree more....hey wait a minute. I am the only Moderator/Admistrator. Well I guess it is up to me them. Better start brushing up on my writing skills if I am going to send out a "We want you back" email to all the old members.  I have been putting it off till I got things back in good order, but now is as good a time as any. Thanks for the push.

Well, from what I have seen, although I am very new even to the forum thing, I do like the format. I have received very helpful and useful information and really enjoy looking at this site once a day! I just wish there was more in the classifieds to peruse....Keep up the great work Boots!

Jason, I truly hope that your attempt at making this site what it once was years and years ago are successful. This used to be a great place, grossly mismanaged and left by the wayside to die since, but a great place nonetheless. A hearty Good luck to you sir. The good news is I'm back!!! and with all my years of knowledge, experience and intelligence to share, you can't go wrong........

wow, i stumbled back upon this site today. I'm bored at work on a saturday, and this is where I end up! I haven't posted in years. I do remember being on this site for hours and hours on end a few years ago. So odd! I haven't even thought about it in eons. I do miss all of the great advice and looks into other herpers lives, though. It would definitely be nice to see this site back in it's prime!

I second everyone's comments. I haven't been here in probably a year either. Most of you probably remember me as the annoying kid with a lot of (sometimes) stupid questions lol, but I can assure you that I'm much more knowlegable about herps now, especially when it comes to hots and large constrictors. Anyway, I'm glad to see things starting to pick back up here and hopefully sSnakeSs.com will rise again!

You know, over even the last two weeks I've been coming back here, I've noticed an improvement. I've also recognized some old handles from this site heyday that I haven't seen in years and many that I see in other forums all the time....keep it up.......
