You can have the temps drop down into the 60's at night without a problem.
At night i don't have ANY heat on them and i live in a basement that drops into the 60's at night.
You guys don't shut off your light until 9:30 or 10:00, that's kinda odd to me. I've always went on the same photoperiod thats outside. For an example right now lights get turned on at 6:30 in the morning (that's when the sun comes up here) and then they turn off around 7:30 at night (when the sun goes down). If they see any light coming in from the window they are up, droggy but awake.

Before I had my beardies on 3 different shift I would have agreed with you. It seems odd to have their lights turn off later than sunset for some reason, but so long as they have a set schedule, it doesn't matter what time the lights turn on or off. Some of the lights do filter into the other enclosures but they have gotten used to the little bit of light and just ignore it, and a few just like to wake up when I come in to feed the others but it doesn't seem to affect them in the least amount.

well all mine turn on at once.. and the little bit of lite that does comes through is good for them imo.. that way there not awakened abruptly by bright lights.. and they definatly dont wake up from it...
