LOL, Mom!

Very nice Dan. I was just in Calgary with my camera, and plan to be again very soon - I think I need to see that snow boa of yours in person, and document pictures of it, dates, times, get your finger prints, you know - just normal stuff.

Thanks everyone keeping my fingers crossed here but like I said before not too many female snows have produced viable litters.

Trevor the cages are the ones Mark stated, Greg made me 24 of them this season.

We had to change some things from the first prototypes like latches and hinges from lexan to metal. Never use plastic for those. LOL

But I am very happy with them and the boas sure seem to like them.

They are easy to heat with 24 in flexwatt on a helix (gives a very nice hotspot) and they keep humidity in well. Very good in our dry Calgary air. Very easy to clean and disenfect and they weigh about 20lbs.

I had to move my collection twice last year due to buying a new house and after moving 40 some odd melamine cages I was ready to kill someone.

Greg was also a great guy to deal with and even delivered them to my house since we are only a few hours away from each other. He even chaged out the plastic latches for metal and so on.

I guess people in Eastern Canada might shy away from them due to shipping and I have seen the reptiplastics cages in person and would say there are very well made also and would not hesitate to buy them but the shipping would have killed me on such a large order.

Finally we have a couple of very good craftsman making plastic cages here in Canada.

I make it a habit to generally not respond to picture posts, as really my input doesn't offer any insight, or useful information. Coupled with the fact that any post not solely proclaiming admiration tends to end up in a flame war. As such I view responding to such posts as unproductive use of my time and others who would read my posts (as you all are now doing). But in light of the shear volume of time I have wasted reading brutally excessive and completely pointles threads here over the last while. I'll waste some of everyone else's time as well. As you can see this post is equally pointless and is now becoming equally long winded. While it is known I'm not really into morphs and/or the genetics required, I do say that you certainly have done an amazing job over the past few years, and are a credit to herpetoculture in Canada. So with no further edieu'

Here's hoping for the best, good on ya' Dan. We need to talk peruvians some time soon.

Gary D.
