Thanks James, much appreciated. I am so fascinated with them all. My favourite are the phants as I let you know at the last Edmonton Show with "the coolest reptiles in this room, right there", they are so fascinating and much more active then the sikorae or lineatus. I just looked at em with a small keychain flashlight and the female was climbing up the ficus head first and she stopped and started waving her tail back and forth to mimic a leaf in the the wind, it was neat.

You're gonna get to see a lot of the tail waving from the phants as they seem to use this form of communication quite a bit. Definitely one of the reasons they are one of my favorite species of gecko! Just wait until you have your first hatchlings!

yes very wicked geckos.
I am right now working with panther chameleons, and would love to get into the uroplatus. It is my hope for the future to breed as many reptiles from madagascar as possible.
My next addition will hopefully be the sickorea followed by fantasticus. LOl sorry bout the spelling.
DOes your supplier have a web page I would love to go through him seems to have some realy nice animals.
peace

Is there any supplier of U. phantasticus in Ontario, pref near Ottawa or Mtl. I am seriously debating getting a pair, are they expensive? I havent seen em in any price list. Also they are a fairly delicate species right? I have cared for U. lineatus and found them to be quite hardy, is the care similar.
thanks
ORION

The best thing to do is get a pair from Neil himself.
It would be worth the shipping cost
I purchased my pair from port credit pets in the summer they were from Neil and in great health! You should give them a call and find out if they have or receiving more.
The prices for all Uroplatus are going to sky rocket because of their listing change on CITES

Nope, Neil doesn't have a webpage. You're best bet would be to go to www.kings*ake.ca and go to the canadian classifieds, check under lizards and his entry is usually titled "Rare Geckos For Sale". It will have all that's available the date it was listed and his email. I'm sure animals will be missing off the list if the ad is a couple weeks old, good luckl.
