Yeah, Peugeot is very popular around here. I'm changing the Calibra headlights for the 206 tuning-edition headlights. Gonna have to do some body cuts for that but i'm guessing it will look superb. I'll post a pic once it's done.

JIMMYDAVID:
Just did a fast search and found these. I used to have a few photos of some really nice looking 406's done by a small group in Algarve who are originally from Guimarães. They did alot of crazy nice styles of paint alot like this photo and body mods that were amazing.

I'm totally not into souping up newer cars (a la honda civic) but absolutely ADORE hot rods and rebuilding older cars. When I was growing up, I helped my dad rebuild an old '72 TR6...which I this year inherited. I love that old brit sports car...learned A LOT builing it too. Right now I have my eyes on some old '57 Impalas or the old '45 Chevy pickups...if only I had the money! This one isn't our TR6....but looks exactly like it (except we put silver flecks into the blue paint)

if you want to see a nice pugeot 406, see if you can rent the original, european version of Taxi (not that campy recent american remake with queen latifah) great driving movie. its in french with subtitles just to warn you.
I saw it when I was in switzerland in 1998.
HEy Jimmydavid: those turbos are an expensive fix, I just replaced the on on my stock 1991 volvo 740 turbo sedan. The original turbo went 450 000km. it was expensive, so I cant imiagine the cost of one for a tuner car.

Tony, bloody nice car. And buddy from Calgary, I'll be keeping an eye out for that celica, looks like mine.......
......From Need For Speed Underground lol.
I drive a stock 91 celica GTS..get's me from point A to B... I'm not much for suping up cars, I personally hate those freaking mufflers unless it's on a car like Tony's or "buddy from Calgary" haha. And I don't like body kits much, I'd rather see that money go under the hood and surprise the kids trying to race you. Take care, keep the pics coming.

MIKE:
Thank you.
Yeah the high rice rocket mufflers do sound cheezy at times on certain cars. I put alot Greddy components on my ride, sounds alot like a smoking Vette but only when the pedal is down otherwise its calm almost like a sleeper. After my bud lost his car, we took all we could save to build my ride on the kit look. I was hoping last year to add a few more tweaks in looks to European it a bit and I might still try if the cost doesn' t pass the left over limit I want to put last into it.
Ideas that are in the works are mirror or side signals like Mercedes, a friend of mine says it is real easy and not over the budget at all to install. As long as the paint doesn' t get messed up I might consider it. The lambo doors are a tweak I can' t miss out on. I believe in my province there are only 2 cars with it being a Celica and a MR-2 being my finacee' s brother in that 1. The Celica is a buddy of his and was the 1st to have that done in Manitoba by an installer in Minneapolis. Tint is a plus as well just over all keeps the ride styling. Might consider remote drop kit when ride is parked, friend says I can do it in budget but still thinking on it cause I still want to put my own rims and rubber on it and give back the old ones. Then upgrade the factory stereo to a mp3 player possibly a DVD mp3 player but cost is the issue might stick to simple mp3 player only.
I love upgrading the ride but I have limits set. Analisa says I can keep the car but the budget is set final now
But she loves the ride and the speed and control on 4 slicks with my baby keeps me happy with a weekend cruiser. Although winter here sucks up alot of the fun, summer is much more pleasing
That is right its only a weekend ride in good weather with only 60,000 km and still has the new car leather smell. To bad no autobahn in flat Manitoba
