I wouldnt be able to pick on in specific but I would have to say region wise it would be Madagascar even though I have never been it looks to be one of the most beautiful places in the world and because of its isolation for so long has had some interesting twists as far as evolution goes. I would have to say some of the chameleons on the island though they have just adapted so well it amazes me everytime. But on the other hand its also loosing alot of its natural habitat and becoming more and more commercialized it each passing year.

Just a little bias eh Ryan? lol

There's too many to choose from around the world but the species I find most interesting in Ontario would be the spotted turtle. For some reason, I find the fact that these turtles spend most of the year in some form of "hibernation" to be most interesting. All they do is eat a few meals, reproduce, and then go back to sleep.

Maybe I'm just jelous!

Slipknot.. that is the weirdest animal i have ever seen. it almost looks photoshopped. it has a prehensile tail skink's face, a earthworms body, and a mole's paws. tres funky!

anyway.. my answer would have to be the elephant trunk snake.. only because its so odd looking and i dont know much about it, but honestly there are dozens and dozens of herps that capture my attention and i keep find more.
