can I ask what kind of current and voltage these collars provide? I have never used one (having never owned a dog) and am interested in how low the 'shock' actually is.

I think that the collars are likely a better training device than smacking the dog with your hand or a rolled up newspaper....the collar would provide consistency and I'd imagine that consistency is key when training. Beutiful animals by the way...all of you!

It's not enough that you guys have some of the nicest snakes on the planet, you have to get al lthe good looking dogs as well!!!

sneaky boa - I am actually not sure...hmmm. Maybe I'll go check the box later on.
I agree that this is much better than a hand....lets the dog know you arent a threat.

Thanks too!

The white dog is a german shepard x siberian husky
the black dog is 1 i rescued in halifax. My friend stole her from some crackwhore that beat the crap out of her. We've had her for roughly 9-10months now. when we first got her you couldn't even pet her or else she would attack. I have many scars on my arms from this dog. She is a very protective dog(my gf can't even kiss me without my dog getting in the middle...or if some1 stands up she goes between them and me and my gf to protect us).
The black dog is a Rottixpitbullxlab

I never pay for dogs. Theres too many in this world that need homes. I rescued another 4 dogs a few years ago from this puppy mill. I take animal cruelty seriously and I think these people are lucky that I only take their dogs(no i'm not a dog thief....but i will not hesitate to take a dog if it is obviously neglected or abused...i put the animals well being first) and not give them the same treatment they gave their dogs

That is definately the way to go!

We got our dog for free! The guy was giving them away...or putting them in a shelter.

Luckily we saw the ad, and now he has been with us for a great 3 years!

matts dog has the same face as mine(mines pic makes it look like it has a funny face). Only difference is mine has the shape of matt's dog's head with the typical rotti markings
