Seems to me there is a small hand full of seasoned memebers who can't help but be overly sarcastic and rude when they post. You know you are.
I think that a lot of posts such as the above don't really help matters much either. It's basically forum litter and doesn't help anything. It just makes some members feel singled out, even when you don't name anyone specifically.

I think its the opposite. I think people are WAY too touchy and intrepret posts the wrong way. Its a few words on an internet forum, why get so worked up? If you're older than 12, then there's no reason to get all foamy at the mouth.

Having said that, we need to make sure the basic answers to the basic questions are available at all times and EASY to find. These seem to be the cause of most angst. I like the sticky caresheets. They are very well done.

Thus far i've seen many very valid points. We all get a little worked up once in a while and we all have our buttons that get pressed sometimes. I'm definately as guilty as anyone about that

Then again we do have a LOT of people here with vastly different opinions and experience. Overall I know i'm a much better keeper because of it and i'm sure everyone else is as well.

I do think Boidkeeper does have a point with some members being more curt than necessary, especially with new people. However in their defence i've seen MANY threads that get covered on a weekly basis that a simple search of the appropriate forum would quickly answer. I think it's important to remember that even logging on here is usually a big step towards educating yourself and at the end of the day it's better overall for the herps in question.

We've definately become a community. And like any community not everyone always gets along. But I know that i've learned a ton since coming here and that alone makes it definately worthwhile to me.

Its what internet forums were invented for????? You should be concerned if it ever stops…means people are no longer thinking for themselves.
