Ha I guess I could never watch CFL I'd be yelling "what a dumb ***, why would you punt on 3rd down?" 10 yards to get a 1st down?

That would be hilarious beaner!! LOL!!!
Ken, the ONLY way to get 2 points in ANY football is a 2-point convert, a 2 point convert failed attempt returned to the other endzone, or a safety.
Other rules that are different:
1) 20-second play clock in the CFL, 45 seconds in the NFL.
2) One foot in bounds for a reception to count in the CFL (same as NCAA), two feet for the NFL.
3) EVERY kick is returnable in the CFL. Missed field goals, quick kicks, punts, etc etc. In the NFL, you have a "fair catch"? I hate that one. Fair catch sucks.
4) Field size. CFL is 110 yards by 65 yards. NFL is 100 yards by 47.5 yards.
5) Endzones are 20 yards deep in the CFL. 10 yards deep in the NFL.
6)Goal posts are at the front of the endzone touchdown line in the CFL and are IN the field of play. In the NFL, they are at the back of the endzone.
7) 12 players on the field for the CFL. Only 11 in the NFL. Probably because of the field size.
8) Unlimited motion by recievers and running backs before the snap. Not so in the NFL. I think the tight end can wiggle his a$$, but that's about it.
9) Two stripes on the ball for the CFL. No stripes for the NFL.
10) A yard seperates the offence and defence in the CFL's line of scrimmage. No such yard in the NFL.
There's a TON more.
