I own many species i never intend to breed. This hobby is about learning and observing the animals, sure breeding is major part but its not what makes this whole hobby. it just seems in this one case changing your mind every month on a new animal wont help, because form what i understand Bartman wants to start breeding soon, and having all these extra animals wont help with costs etc.. I may be wrong, and dont mean to come off as a dictater as to what you have to do. But costs are what'll get you, do what you want its you animals, but if it was me i would concentrate on doing what i gotta do to get to breeding. And then splerge on animals. just my 2 sence

I dont know, maybe im giving off wrong messages...but I have no intention to begin breeding in large scale. Maybe one thing just for pure facination. I actaully couldnt think of anyone making money in this hobby unless you've got high end morphs or a massive breeding project.

With the bci, I just wanted a female to breed, but have decided they get big (which isnt the main case) and it would be hard to get rid of babies.

What I always want is more reptiles, I dont care about breeding or anything (not really now anyway), just to get the reptiles that facinate me most. Obviously I want to breed, so I cant say I dont, but I have no intention, yet do I even have the room, for a larger breeding project.

If I were to get the rat snakes, I wouldnt be keeping them in a rack system. Earlier in this thread, I asked if a pair would be okay in a 5x2x2. No one seemed to get that. I would keep a baby pair in a rubbermaid for time yes, but not as adults, nor sub adults.

Thanks anyways..I think, but im going to decide closer to the next show, instead of the upcomming show. My rack/cage isnt completed anyhow.

I think that it wasn't ignored and that you were told that they shouldn't be housed together.
