Those estimates are a little misleading. To begin with, male F. pardalis have been known to reach up to 56 cm (20.5") total length, not snout to vent. Most individuals peak out around 40 cm total length, however.

What the heck did I get? They sure as hell aren't near the lengths you mentioned, and I was told they are panthers, they look like panthers, didn't taste them, but I'm sure they are a type of panther?
OK so I got some panthers, they were bred and raised locally, this is only one pair of many I have seen, and they have ALL been 5-6 inches MAX. Some of them, including the pair I got, were proven breeders, could they be a subspecies? I was told they were 1-3 years old, another my friend got from me is 5-6 inches snout to vent and he's almost 4 years now.
Was I mislead? I was told and thought I had gotten Furcifer pardalis.

Pictures of the proven pair I received?

I'm Terribly Confused?!?!?!

21" SVL in a panther is not right. They mean the over all length. Nose to the tip of the tail.

For the record, i keep my basking spot warmer as well, i run at about 95 degrees and he loves it. As long as there is a gradient of heat its all good.

Not very long at all, I received them in a trade, but I'm more of a snake person so I sold them. I was told they sucessfully bred before they were in my posession? What are your thoughts about that???
