If people are actually relasing these crossbred's in the wild the pure lines will soon be extinct, there would not be pure bloodlines anymore. It will just take time for this to happen. Its like a set of dominos, evenully it will reach to the end, so will pureblood lines evenully they will get wiped out, and it would be very rare to find pure breds.

I think the only way you could be certain if its a pure nosy be is to get a WC. But what about our chameleons right in our homes, are they pure or not? Or we just dont know anymore?

Yeah. Kilos is right. Once the chameleon leaves the breeder, they can't be held responsible for the purchasers act. Personally, I would care if I had a cross anyways. I find the patterns on the majority of males tend to be more spectacular anyways.
