It is a surinam and its a male he is about 11-12 feet i'll have to mesure it again and see if he's grown abit....Maybe when you come to Montreal next time you could help me with a string , I've already seen your amazing handling skills with aggressive snakes

Bcc and Colombian Bci are typically the same size. The differences between the two ssp. are minimal, and some people actually believe them to be the *same* subspecies (currently, I am not one of those people).

For my part, i keep my 1.5 year old male BCC in a 4'X2'X2' tank, he's nearly 3.5' long and very kind! Its very strong too! I just dont want it to grow to 9' long , then ill have some room problems! Id say a 6-7 footer male would be a healthy size for an adult male...
