Right on Stav!!!! 51 is an absolutely INCREDIBLE litter for a 6-7 footer! Looks like the babies have some nice patterns too.

Well Thanks to all for your kind words I think I'm gonna breed her with an albino next time and make some hets. Her last litter was one set of twins, 37 babies no slugs if i remember well. I hope she hits the 60's next year.

What better confirmation of keeping healthy animals, than that size of a litter. Way to go!
Thanks for your kind words dave Without starting an other controversed discussion on how many babies boas get, their size and everything ( I'm a bit lazy this topic was discussed many times and my english is not good enough for me to say everything i want to say on that topic )...I can say that keeping them right is the first step. The second is being able to see when the female's folicules are at the good size and ready, proper temps and offcourse genetics. I 've seen many litters of 35 to 40 babies comming out of between 4 1/2 & 6 1/2 feet central ams which are usually smaller than colombians... biggest was a litter of 42 if I remember well.

That's just amazing! Congrats Stav on this incredible litter.

Can this actually be a record? I'm just curious I've never heard of a clutch this large and especially so many healthy survivors! Any one know what the records are?

I'm looking forward to seeing the results of your upcoming litters!
