Spidey will go down in history as one of the greatest. I LOVE that movie!
Off the top of my head... The Shining, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Deliverance, Some Like it Hot, Unforgiven, Apocalapse Now, Moonstruck (don't laugh), The Good the Bad and the Ugly, and more recently, The Others...
So many good movies to list!

Oh God, I can't believe I forgot Stanley (sorry Stanley, you are missed)!!! That's a definate favorite, especially A Clockwork Orange and I must admit that I truly liked Eyes Wide Shut, but I could tell he wasn't directing. Still good though. And yes, Full Metal Jacket too, fabulous movie and Platoon (Adagio for Strings by Barber which is used in the movie, is one of my favorite pieces and is my fav by an American composer.)
Thanks for the memories Damien! Good Stuff!
Tay

American History X is going to one of the classics when it comes to movies that deal with Racism. It got a lot of flack when it was in the theatres because of some of the scenes, but i think it was brilliantly written. I see some people also mentioned Stand By Me, i think i have seen that movie about 3000 times. Another great flick. Damien, you listed "The Warriors" I thought i was the only the one that remembered that movie, i was going to list then thought maybe no one would know it. Another great one. There are soo many good movies that it is hard to list them, but im gonna try and list some of my favorites..
Sports Movies:
SlapShot
The Program
Rudy
Youngblood
Varsity Blues
Bull Durham
Major League
Field Of Dreams
Gangster/Jailhouse types:
Blood In Blood Out
Menace II Society
New Jersey Drive
Carlito's Way
Casino
Goodfellas
Scarface
American Me

Not Another Teen Movie (it was actually funny)
Scary Movie 2 (Had its moments)
American Pie 1/2
