Looking good Jeff... I've seen this phenomenon of long eggs in many young snakes and I've had young Hondos have those torpedo eggs as well...It's like Mary said...Young females tend to lay longer but fewer eggs. Pyros and Sinaloans often have huge long eggs as well
With Hondos, you rarely see small babies, so I guess small females simply lay fewer bigger eggs, but you should find pretty large yolk filled babies come out of those eggs... 12-14 inchers or so.
They'll be ready for hoppers right off the bat.

I agree with everyone saying that smaller females lay elongated eggs. I think that the 'push' from the female gives it a longer egg form.

Jeff I can definitely see that you're enjoying the egg box....would you think that the egg box would be the reason why the snakes are giving bigger eggs? Cause once the eggs, the eggs already start absorbing the water moisture from the moss thus the bigger eggs? (This is only from what I think....)

But even so..your eggs looks HUGE!!

Congrats on the eggs!!

Roy,
Those racks that you have are great!! I like them....maybe I would need something like that....do you help people make racks? LOL...even if you get out of breed (yeah as if that would happen) you can still make a little from helping people make those wonderful racks you have there~

Wow, MORE albinos? Seems like you've got your hand in every cookie jar, heh? I thinks its so cool that you don't just work with one type of snake. Must be hard work sometimes though.

Thank you for the pics!

Thanks guys!

No direct hypos for sure this year Marc, but I am trying a 66% het pair and a 50% het pair. Next year my two hypo females will bhe used to make double het hybinos (hopefully).

Cheers everyone!

Very nice looking eggs. My female was the other extream. Her eggs were just plain huge. A couple longs ones to go along with the fat ones. I like that rack also Roy. I like that clean look of the melamine but that light construction of yours is appealing also.
