They had me very tempted as well. I have never seen the leopard tortoises before. I initially thought they were fake painted wood turtles mixed in with the spur thighs till one moved.
If only they stayed that small, I would get one for sure.

Yeah a tiny tortoise would be sooooo cool, I think the closest we can get is a Greek tort. I may have to apply for a permit to get some of those Snake-necked turtles that Jon had displayed; they were definitely the most asked about animal on his table.

Both Henry & Gord Redman (probably Nett too) had JCPs available at the show, as well as others (myself included, but adults). If you are looking for IJs specifically Kyle has a clutch incubating & another on route? JCPs incubating as well. Mark
P.S. I may currently have a gravid JCP too & Tony also has eggs

Well after seeing the pictures I’ll have to make it out to Calgary for the next show! It’ll be a long trip from Ottawa but I’ve always wanted to see Calgary and I couldn’t think of a better excuse. I hope the dragons don’t mind the long flight! I hope it will be a one way trip for them at least.

If you want to reserve your tables before June 1, tables for Taras members are $20.00 per table. Non-TARAS members will be charged $30/table before June 1 and bothe prices will be going up after that date. We will be deciding on that price at our next meeting. Hope to see a bunch of you easterners at our next show. I think it would be well worth the trip.

I 2nd Greg's posts. Its been a while since anyone from out east came. We had Corey Woods one year, but its been a poor turn out for the Easterners since (EDIT: I mean snake people Gary LOL see post below). Would love to see some new vendors & their stock, as well as the ssnakess guys. Mark

Connie Dorval (Arboreal Exotics) is from Eastern Canada and shows fairly regularly. I even got a fantastic little male Nosey Be Panther Cham from her this show.

Thanks Greg, I’ll pm you for the details. I’ll also have to ask Connie how to get all my show set up out there. I guess I’ll have to down size my display a bit. Shipping a 66lb pound bag of dried play sand will cost a fortune. Maybe I’ll have to use shelf liner instead.
But it will be nice to meet some fellow Herp lovers and “talk shop”. That’s one of the best things about going to the T.O. expo. Even though it’s normally a busy day. I can’t wait! Here are a few pic’s from the last T.O. expo. It was at tear down and it is only the left half.
