I am not totally sure of his weight.. He is actually not really that heavy though..

They are in a the pond on my property now..the pic was taken when they were inside in a huge red tub i got with some sliders years ago..

Snappers are pretty cool. I cared for some for a few months on behalf of a friend. They were pretty mean though, they wanted to bite me every chance they got. Made it kind of fun though. I'm sure their bite would hurt real bad, but their strike is so limited, and its so obvious when they are about to. You'd have to be damn near ******** to get bit. I thought it was hilarious because my friends would come over and pick up my other turtles all the time, and it bothered me. I don't like ppl fooling around with my reptiles w/o permission. I spent the whole summer hoping somebody would reach into the snapper tank. Never happend. These thigns are DIRTY. They poop so much, you'll never understand till you keep them, it's unbelievable. I think it would be worth just straight forgoing a filter and doing daily water changes.

well thats what i was going to be doing at first, when it was still a baby, but i think it would get realy annoying once it is full grown, like tanker, and i have the change the water and clean that thing everyday.
