i think alot of people get too tied up on market value of particular morphs. I can only think of two people in canada that have a real oppertunity to take there hobby to the kind of place all us breeders dream of.
I think that with the current market value of albino boas (my personal favorite sanke) that I still won't become rich breeding them. Instead I'm just focusing on breeding only the best animals and building relationships with my clients.
Sure I'm never gonna be rich...hell I'm still gonna have to work 9-5 to get by. But with some luck and hard work I'm having my hobby pay for itself.
Good luck...and for anyone that can take this to the level that guys like bob clark and ralph davis have all the best to you...and i wish you all the success in the world.
The more albinos produced the more there will be available. Lot's of people bought albinos last year. In 5 years this country will be flooded with albino boas.
Less than 20% of those will actually be bred within the next 5 years if history is correct. Lots of people buy lots of things, but production is another story.
Hip hip horay, I agree with you on that. I too love albino plus a few others that were eye catchers to me.
FIREFOZ:
As for Albinos 3 years back in price I remember my searchs in Canada at the time in range of $2500 - $3500, being there were only a half a handful out there the price went on pressure and demand, if you wanted them and were willing to pay the price was there.
