Too much!
On a brighter note (wish I had the camera here) I think one of my balls is ovulating tonight. If so then that makes number 2 for sure so far for me. Of the 4, 2 have moved to the heat. If this one switchs over I'll feel better about it.
Cheers,
Trevor

Well.........that's a trade secret..............lol.
13 of mine have ovulated so far.............45 females were bred. My females are going early for me. They started ovulating in Feb. In years past most didn't start ovulating until April. I have a good array of animals on the way. Het Red Axanthics, Het Pieds, Het Albinos, Het Orange Ghosts, Pastel het Orange Ghost x Pastel het Orange Ghost, Pastel het Orange Ghost X Orange Ghost, Super Pastel x Green Ghost, Banded x Banded, Pastels (from Super Pastel breeding)........and more to come!

Trade secret? I told you how I got mine to ovulate lol. Give us a tip you grand master....
Glad to hear you got all that stuff going! I can't wait to see what a super pastel ghost looks like. I'm just hoping to produce lots of spiders this year.

David,
I maybe interested in picking up a spider this year. However, I believe the price on spiders is inflated. I've been offered 2003 (300 gram) females for $9K and males for $12.5K..........so I just have to laugh at the other guys trying to sell males for $18.5K and females for $15K.

I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I haven't really been keeping up with the business side of the hobby. I am sure you can get spiders for a good price, but as the saying goes, you usually get what you pay for. You have been in the hobby for long enough to be familiar with the implications for buying cheap snakes. I paided $30,000 cdn for my spider and I do not regret it at all. I could have went with "the deal" but you never know maybe that cheap one will turn out to be a real "homo" if you get my drift.
There are a lot of ball python morphs out there that are over inflated for what they are. Just depends on what cup of tea you like.

You go Davie boy! I've gotten a few "deals" that I'm still screwing around with trying to get them on track. Peace of mind usually costs more but I think its worth it.

I guess I should buy albino balls in Canada for $4500 CDN instead of getting them from Ralph Davis for $2000 US.......................LOL!
