Oh, i am sorry your egg died. how do you know if you have a good egg or a bad egg? can you tell? well good luck on your 8 eggs!

The baby gecko actually pipped the egg and never made it out. It was fully developed, but apparently not strong enough to emerge. That's just nature's way.

If you want to see if an egg is bad or good, you can candle it with a small flashlight. I use one with an led type bulb. A good egg will start to glow pink and show blood vessel development within a few days of being laid, whereas a bad one will just glow yellow.
