Snausages are made for dogs... exactly! Dogs are omnivorous to an extent, snakes are not, they also have very different requirements. There isn't any product out there that can beat what nature has meant for these animals. Also, most commercial foods are loaded with fillers and preservatives, definitely something you want to avoid. LOL... as to the hot dog remark made by mykee, I couldn't agree more, hot dogs are not healthy foods for anyone

Dog/cat food also has higher d3 levels than herps require in their diet, which can prove harmful over time.

I give some tuna (canned with water not oil) to my female geckos right when they come out of cooling and when they lay eggs. I noted that most fat tails will go banana's over tuna while leopard geckos seem to hate the smell...

I've seen pictures of taods eating cat food before. Its not fatal, but then again, not good at all either. I've also heard of people giving monitors sausages and other meats from the store. Once again, these are loaded with presservatives and other nasties.

Frogman, what toad do oyou have thats the largest in T.O.?

Mike
