Depending on the situation, all snakes(or anything else with a mouth and teeth) will bite.

Hey just keep your fav. liquor in your snake room. Then you can pour some on the snake to release his bite, then take a big swig for yourself...lol. Seriously though i've only been bit once by my bcc. It did bleed pretty good as snake bites do...
