Yet another reason not to support the WC trade of exotics.

Thanks to all you who responded:-) Nova is still healing from all of this and been...leaking (lack of a better word) so I've still been soaking him in water still and keeping him cleaned up. I wanted to clear up that the prolapse didnt fix itsself..the vet had to take care of that. Sorry about that. I moved him into a seperate cage from the other ball. We call it the virgin room cause everything is white lined down to the inside of his hide spots lol

It'll be a week Saturday and I'm tempted to feed him...but am weary since he is still a little swollen and he hasn't passed a solid fece yet...its kind of watery (as I said 'leaking') but I can tell he is ready to eat! Just afraid that it may hurt him, yet dont want him to get too weak. I'll either water or oil up the mouse but taking the chance..I dunno. Will call the vet and see what he thinks is best. I am going to slowly break him into larger mice though if I think he can handle it. If I do this right, you'll see the size of mice he has been eating...I'll just take it a step up at a time.

Thanks again to you...very glad I found this forum!
