lol thanks i found my mistake, uhh i dont think its protected here, it seems like there very common here lol, but it seems like there dying off, cause i havnt even seen one yet, but i got a wooden fence in my area, where one side is the high way and the other is grassy, on the highway side, i heard storys that there is a lot more on the other side, but i havnt even one, thats why i was breeding them to hope to get more the next, it seems the project has failed, what i did wrong is when they lay there eggs, i let them in my house instead of letting them have there cooling period, so i guess the eggs have died now hope i find more next year, well thanks for all you help

Don't forget about roaches, they act like they are cham candy and are very nutritious.

Im not sure if mantis are protected here and no they are not too common that i can see at least in the burbs, because i couldent feed them to my chams outa fear lol i let them go after i fed them crix and watched them breed they are very interesting though. I do see many when im at the cottage in the summer though.

I wanna try roaches soo bad it like the only thing i cant bring in the house though

Yes he is still very little and I dont want to stop feeding him crix, I just want to switch it up every so often. Ive heard that you can feed them certain kinds of baby food also. Is there any truth to that?????

I don't think so. Maybe very young hatchlings or sick and recovering chams.
