Seems REAL early for an ovulation, but its not unheard of.
Ovulation can occure 6-30 days after copulation. For one female it's been 7 days for the other 8. It does seem early though so I'll be watching very closely after their next shed.
Cheers,
Trevor

Oh believe you me Trev, I KNOW when it can happen. I've been breeding them since 1994. I meant that it seemed early in the season for them to be ovulation. Again, not impossible, just seemed early.

I'm not sure I follow? If they copulate early then they will ovulate early. Won't yours be ovulating any day now or at least with in the next couple of weeks?
Cheers,
Trevor

No. I normally see ovulations in January, with eggs being laid in March/April. I have only had an ovulation happen within 4 weeks of the first copulation 3 times (and that's a LOT of breedings, trust me).

Again, not imposible, just not the norm for me.

And I can get them to copulate in June, July, AND August. Doesn't mean they will ovulate in September.
