He ate, didn't he? I don't see the problem? Many snakes will eat when in shed, what's wrong with it? If you can point out an actual problem (other than the fact that some snakes don't eat) then maybe I'll ignore the insult and actually consider the rest of that post.

i would not be insulted by such a ignorant reply if it was posted towards me, but in someone elses eyes they might be. watch your tounge. all of my snakes eat every time they are opaque.

A feeding's a feeding. The snake doesn't have to see it to benefit from it. It's funny sometimes who brings up the subject of stupidity.

My BP will eat when he is in shed. I don't see any reason to not feed then. It's his skin that is sloughing not his digestive system. I don't handle him when he is in shed though. Not sure why it would be useless to feed a snake in shed. Maybe someone could explain that to me. A meal is a meal.

yea.. if the snake eats it eats... just because its in shed doesnt mean it cant eat. My dumerils boa alway takes food from me in shed *or near shed*, i dont see what so bad about it.
