How weird...my dad is the SAME way. Maybe it threatens their masculinity to be afraid of a snake.

I guess you could try exposing him to snakes, reasoning with him, showing him how safe it is, etc., but bottom line is, if he says no, you're kind of stuck. You can always wait til you move out, and then they have NO choice.

to keep you posted, i had a really long talk to him about it, and i eventually got him to say yes (under pressure he crumbles!!), so cool i am gonna get one within the next few weeks. thanks for the help, and by the way Rach where exactly is the IHS show?

That kinda happened to me, i got Akasha came on this sight complained a bit then got draged out to go food shopping with my parents caught them off guard and they let me get Armand! But they won't let me get anymore now
