Lol i said watch out for the mommies. the mommies tend to be a little nippy when they have kids. we wear leather gloves so we can reach in, let the rat bite the glove, push her on her back to show we're dominant then we fill the food bowl. It doesn't hurt the rat and it means that ones that we socialize (like our russian blue rats that go to pet stores as pets only, not food) can start getting socialized earlier. we hold them and pet them to get them used to humans so when the pet store gets them they don't have nippy pet rats.

Matt_winter, the price for super hypo tangs are always changing. you can probably buy one for around $150 but I'll tell you one thing... that gecko that i just bought is WWAY over $500. But then again, mine is also a carrottail. You can probably also buy a hypo tang for $125.

OMG Emily I am so jealous!! My parents say they won't let me have any more pets... even though I keep getting more and more... I can honestly say I have way too many at the moment, and probably won't get too many more until I get a job to afford all the food and vet bills, etc. In the mean time, I will just have to do with what I have, and all I can say is I enjoy it all
