Thats true, But I was thinking more along the lines of public breeders ??? if thats what you would call them, or "pet stores" specializing in herps only......And I know lilyskip...I have ONE good pet store around here....unfourtunetly I can't go there for a long time because it is where I got my birds from and I had to take them back because when we move we can't have them.....but I know they are a good pet store and they are going to sell them as a bonded pair......

if any one thinks pet stores like pet_____ sell the animals for less are on drugs wc bp for 100 lol i wouldnt dare.

good point Invictus...
Sapphire moon.... private breeders already have a hell of a time dealing with there customers (us)....ask any breeder and they'll tell you how 100's of ppl have failed to complete a transaction....theres enough internet dreamers...does anyone think they could actually handle all those ppl who run through the bigger chain stores each and every day.
Pet stores are there for a reason.
they are the ones who take the time to deal with the general public.
Plus they are the ones who supply the supplies.
if they didn't sell both animals and supplies...
it would be like selling the big mac without the fries (or the fries without the bar-b-q sauce..mmmmmm)...
Unfortunately, even some of the "strictly reptile" stores dont take care of there animals well...
its a situation that will probably never satisfy everyone.
if anything was to happen...the government would put forth a team of inspectors that check on pet stores on a regular basis to make sure things are up to par.
however, they'd probably be more willing to do away with the problem by just banning the sale(and keeping) of reptiles/exotics.
it would definately be cheaper for them...
