The good ppl of Turtle Haven and Rescue are a non for profit organization that is 100% for the rescue of all turtles. Recently they are trying to gain help from the local munincipality of Kitchener/waterloo to raise signs for turtle crossings. Its an upward battle but they are doing their best. As the region is filled with lots of swamps, marshes and bodies of water in general, combined with a strong population and several roads, the end result is often disasterous for turtles crossing the roads. The goal is in raising the signs it will make motorists more aware of the potential dangers of crossing over bodies of water...and to be mindfull of the critters that may be on the road. I would encourage anyone who can to help them out. They are extremely close to their goals and with our help they can make it there.

Ah every show there is a story....this one is about two young lovers and fellow members here on the site. Aaron, and Heather. When taking a photo of them i happened to notice identical scars on their necks. I have a feeling that the same bug must have biten the both of them....but i have been known to be wrong

Ive been dying to get a pic of this..and i was sooo lucky when i saw it...this has literally taken me months to get and the shot couldnt be better. Here is nick (aka Chappy) his size 18 feet, and his girlfriend Melly. All i can say about this pic....i feel sorry for the poor girl!!!!

Here is the part of the show that most ppl tell me they love the most....the after parties. In the bar downstairs is where we always end up after a show to cool off and have some fun. This night it was very busy..and i ended up getting home at 3 am. The night included several ppl that came and went such as : Roy stockwell, Mod Matt, Jordan, Dozer, Linds, Crusty, BeeJay, Doenoe, Christina, Jayson, and many others that popped in from time to time.

Okay..so this is a bit adult...but i had to show it....i knew that if i could get pics like this at least i could make the guys happy with this thread....okay..maybe some of the girls as well. Here is Linds..and Beejay....lip locked!!!! See what happens when you just add alcohol!!!

One of my oldest buddies and a new member Crusty. He showed up late and never actually got to see a single animal at his first herp show....lmao...but he did have alot of fun he told me getting silly in the bar......GET A HAIR CUT CRUSTY!!!! HAHAH!!!
