Oh Duh! I just went back and read that. lol, That will teach me for staying up past my bedtime!! lol.
I wondered why she was showing so much yellow at a young age! Boy I feel stupid now. lol.
Anyway, she is really cute! That is what counts the most.
She may be dark, then, just because she is a blizzard, little buggers, they like to keep you guessing! J/k.
I would definately check the temps, temps are one of the main keys to a healthy, hungry leo imo. I think they also factor in on the shade the lizard is too to some extent. But I wouldn't worry, I have a few that get dark from time to time and then a couple hours later I will check on them and they are as bright as ever.
But I didn find my babies got more of an appetite at 90 degrees than at 85. May sound funny to some but that is just my experience. For example I just fed out around 1000 mealies last night for about 30 babies and their dishes are pretty much empty this morning. I go through at least 20 000 mealies a month, not including the crickets!
Here is my blizzard momma.
She was always dark in her last enclosure (it had dark walls to it), now in a rubbermaid rack system she is lightening up considerably. She has been in there for almost 2 weeks.
