He looks fine for a baby, sometimes babies are calm. Is he alert? If you put your hand in front of his face, does he flick his tongue?

Okay, you've only had him for two days. I don't why you're attempting to feed him yet... Just put him in a rubbermaid with a water dishes, papertowel, a hide and some rocks/branches and leave him be for a few days. He is still settling in! Then try offering him a live rat pink or hoppermouse. If he is in his hide box, just put the rodent at the mouth of the hide, he'll feel like he is a big proud snake "ambushing" his prey .

i get worried cuz all of my snake that i've gotten have eaten at lease the 3rd day i get'em.

I had 3 BPs, and all ate less in 3 days. I heard Boas weren't picky eaters. I know the shop and the workers and they said he ate 4 days before i bought him.

I'm so relieved. Well today i went to check on him and he shedded!! Thats why his skin looked so saggy and i thought he was losing wieght. Now he has the usual BCI structure, blocky grey look. Anyway, i went and got a F/T adult mouse, and he took it like a champ!

I'm very glad to hear that he ate well. I've never had trouble with my BCI, so, you should have a wonderful feeder from here on out. I'm guessing that he was just a little stressed from the move and the shed. He's a real beaut though, good luck with him in the future!

Rubbermaid? Sure! It's a little big, but furnish it well and it'll be fine for another year or so!

They aren't as easily stressed, but tanks aren't suitable. They are drafty and don't hold humidity at all.
