I love the set up for Eight. Some questions though...if you don't mind, if you just don't answer! lol...Ok here goes...what is his/her length/weight/age, and what size rubbermaid/sterlite is that, How do you heat it? Do you use lighting? If he/she isn't full grown what gallon/quart rubbermaid/sterlite do you think would be best for a full grown BP????? Thank you for your info! You have one georgeous snake!

sapphire_moon: Eight is about 30 inches long, and just at a year old. I do not know his weight. THe cage is a rubbermaid 11 gallon clear box. THe floor area is actually larger than a ten gallon tank though as it's lower.
I heat it with a heating pad, and a thermastat, and a timer. I do not use lighting at all but my natural room light and outside light.
I don't know what would be the best exactly because many things could be suitable, but I definitly think rubbermaid is best and when Eight is ready I will just be buying the same brand/line of clear box, in the next size up. They come fairly large, some up to 40 gallons I think.
Good luck!
Marisa
Oh and PS, the nice green plant is cute but not functional! Its destroyed and needs replacing every couple days if Eight has been roaming. I just think it looks cute.

Well I have 2 bp's now. And when I get more of whichever snake (probably bp's!) I plan on keeping them in rubbermaids........And my first 2 snakes in display cages. One more question if you can answer it.....My new female bp that I got is 22 inches....how old do you think she is??? I'm thinking she's about 2-4 months old.....what do you think? I wasn't able to get her exact b-day when I got her. But plan on trying to get it.

I wish I had a camara to put my BP's pics on here. I have to say. Every BP pic that I have seen so far is absolutely beautifull! But then again I am partial to BP's!!

Honestly, I have no clue. I am sure they all grow at different rates. It would be nearly impossible to make a guess in some cases
