ScReptiles: No field herping for me. I don't really have the time or wild snake knowledge to accomodate a hobby like that. =) I'm sure it's super fun though and wouldn't mind trying sometime in the future.

I have some exotic pythons that I have had for many years, but for the most part I only work with indigenous species these days. I find field herping to be as rewarding as husbandry. The TN law is not herp friendly, but I am pretty sure AR allows collection. Always use caution. Herpers often find venomous even when they are not looking for them. =)
