Snow -- my impression of what hypo means in an albino is more of a reduction in pattern than a reduction in melanin.... in other words, the albino would have very little in the way of banding....
I don't know if I'd actually call her a hypo (that is assuming that my definition is correct ), but Serenity does have very narrow bands compared to my other albinos....

Hello Snowsnake

I agree you have a lack of melanin in a hypo or a super hypo but what other colors do you have????

Check out this pic and let me know if you figure it out.

I also have yellow banded, orange banded, striped, jungle, patternless and reverse striped Rainwater albinos in my collection.

Later

Dan

Here you go snow

Basically if yuo produce a hypo tangerine albino you have a solid orange or close to solid orange gecko with a white background. The added bonus would be the carrot tail and that is what I am after.

Yellow Banded Male Rainwater Albino

Orange Banded Male Rainwater Albino

Patternless Male Rainwater Albino

Reverse Striped Female Rainwater Albino

Striped Hatchling Rainwater Albino

Jungle Female Rainwater Albino

Thanks

Dan

Going along with the rainwater thing. There is still alot to be done with rainwater albinos. Not many people working on outcrossing the different morphs out there. Heck you rarely even see jungle rains out there. I personaly am working on a few projects with rainwaters as well. I also wanted to mention that the carrot tails and crosses usually tend to have carrot on their tails that shows up later. Also alot of tangs I have noticed start of with that neon yellowish orangish coloration. Its really a hard color to describe but if you bred them you know what I am talking about. Nice looking gecko Dan.
