Actually zoe and brandon, #48 is correct. Not that I was walking on the ice back then, but I've seen pictures of it, and it's true. Some place in the falls had pictures of it with people walking around on the ice.

Ken... niagara falls DID stop, but it was in the 1800s, and because of an ice block further up river. It isn't really possible for such a huge waterfall to just freeze, it would have to be -300 or something.
I'm pretty sure Niagara Falls stopped running only once...
:P

I just so happen to have a $5 bill here and I am only counting 26 states, and that isn't necessarily true. "Carolina" isn't a state, we have a North Carolina and a South Carolina. It reads North Dakota, but no South. No Illinois, no Hawaii, no Aklaska, not even a good o'l Wyoming. So that crosses out #11. However, I wonder if the real Lincoln Memorial has all the states, maybe just engraved on another side of the memorial. Oh well, it was still fun to read!

One more thing- I also read a book once where you can make a bomb out of guana (bat poop) and Fruit Loops cereal! Makes you wonder who thought that one up.

There is a lot of mist in that picture of Niagara Falls... and the caption says "Frozen Cave...". Therefore from that pic i cant see the falls actually freezing over. Ive seen lots of rapids that never even come close to freezing. Just call me Thomas i guess lol

Unfortunately, the two dollar bill is no longer in circulation here in Canada, so it is difficult to get your hands on one to verify the American flag.
I do not see why anyone would be offended by it.
