Salamanders and frogs and toads I guess (you did say reptiles). Mammals suck

...I would just span out in my falconry and get my own USDA/USDI
permits to keep my own big cats when I move out.

Those are some great ideas. I would probably have hamsters, birds and definately a house hippo. LOL

A ton of dogs probably Alaskan Malamutes and ferrets. I already have one ferret and you really can train them like in that movie Beastmaster.

Honestly, I have wanted a shrink ray for so long to shrink people down to like 3"... And have like 50 in a big tank, and do stuff with them, and have them as pets...
Hahaha, that seems wierd now.
Kitties, BUGS! (if they don't count as what you mean by "herps"...), Billions of Sea Monkeys.

Pygmy hedgehog and birds of all different species, especially rare parakeets like Princess of Wales.

gee, that's hard... I have a softness for cats, but I think I'd rather breed Bullmastifs - good dogs.  Maybe some fish or two... I'd keep birds, but they hate me. o.o;

More parrots!
If I couldn't have herps, I'd have a house full of parrots.
Parrots are intelligent, interactive, vindictive, snuggly, evil, charming, and they learn how to swear real well...hehe..I want a house full of feathered little truckers like my Diablo (Meyers Parrot). Nothing like a pet that can sing along to Slayer songs (gonna teach him some Elvis tunes next) and share a cheeseburger with you.

Well Id still have my black one eyed Chow doggie and the cat, maybe a terantula or 2, scorpions, the rabbit, birds, the rats might stay since my daughter likes them but the mice would be out the door so quick! Id love a ferret but I dont think ferrets would get along with a 2 year old and the dog or cat... well maybe the cat.

I would love to keep big cats but lets be realistic... not possible for 99.9% of us coz of laws (not easy to hide a cougar or tiger in your home and still be able to give it the best care.. kinda dangerous too). So I think it would all come down to what one can hide from the bylaw officers.
I would love to keep a couple of flying foxes (fruit eating bats) they look like cute little dogs with wings. I would get myself a Harris Hawk (I'm getting one next year) and maybe a Macaw or two.
I would not get a monkey... they are generally a pain in the arse to keep... too mischevious ( throw their poo at you and just make a complete mess of things).. although I do think them little Squirrel monkeys are really cute.... yeah maybe I would get one of those.
