...Yea, noticed that. He does have some blut tint to him but think the hing thats make him that color is the Stock tank. Notice the branch is somewhat blue, too. Gives the lil bugger more character though so shhh.. heh. Also, I live in Oklahoma. I know this is basic for Canadians buy Im willing to expand wherever theres a croc fourm.
Also, on KS fourms I'm Reptilefreak19..

...Reptilez, I happen to own Specs, a dwarf, a smoothie. So it's been done.. Also I currently keep two other niles and I can properly house and care for them, and I also know what I'm getting into.. One day I'll have all 23 species.. I hope, heh.

Heres another pic Baz.

Cool pic mate. I have a few pics of a baby nile that I babysat for a couple of weeks. I'll send em to you or post a link to them soon. I have used nile crocs (3 footers) in quite a few of the educational shows I have done for kids.

Crocs just amaze me! I'm off to India in August to work at the Madras Crocodile bank and Centre for Herpetology for 2 weeks. They have most species of crocodilian there and they have a gharial breeding program there also. That should be a fun experience. This centre was established by Rom Whittaker. This is also the place where they extract venom from cobras, kraits and russels vipers with the help of the Irula tribe people.

...I know that place well, But only by reputation. One day I will visit there. Its kind f hard to do lot of stuff funding your own trips.
Are you funding or are you working under someone? Either way, good luck and hope you achieve what ya aiming for here. Id love to see pics when you return...

Reptilez, heh thanks. I hope the same.

No, I'm paying for this trip myself... I wish it was funded though. I'll be taking loads of pics there so i will have a lot to show when I get back. I'm taking a lot of pics because I will be creating a website for them as they don't have one yet. An important centre like that needs a good website so I offered to do it for them... my little bit of help towards their conservation work

This is great for you Baz! You are very lucky. Have a good trip and when you get back we want news! Until then you could learn some useful words from their language. Although India is a rich country with poor people, is a beautiful country with many energy fields. Hindus are warm people with a kind of mystic power. Don't ever drink water and eat cheap food. Only good hindu food and water from bottles. Enjoy it and bring a baby gharial when you get back

This will be my 7th time in India (I am of indian background myself although I was born and raised in England). I am Punjabi so I have only really spent time up north in Punjab and the himalayas, I have been to Delhi before and to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh State and have been to Calcutta and down a bit on the east side to Puri in the Orrisa state.

This will be my first time in South India though. Completely different language (Tamil) there although hindi is common throughout India and I understand that and speak it a little... I'm fluent in Punjabi.

I was in North India last winter. I drank bottled water but I did end up eating a lot from the stall vendors in the markets ("aloo tikkis".. a kind of potato patti and "gol guppas"... don't know how to explain this one but it would give most non-residents the runs after! lol and I had some amazing fried fish) I never got sick though in the 2 weeks I was there which I found wierd.

This is great. The greater was that i gave advices to a half Hindu cultured guy! lol. I like very much hindu people and their culture. I have read all the books from Krishnamurti. He first entered me to the hindu mysteries.
