ahahahaha
I think the boiled eggs with monitors is more a matter of lowering the amount of mess that would come from raw eggs than anything.

Not many snakes would eat eggs and those who do can actually determine whether the egg is fresh, or there's a big chick inside, by their smell.

You feed your snakes what they need to be fed on. Not doing so only leads to complications.
