Re: Bull S....
I use natural stone flooring tiles. My big Kankakee has 2x2 square of 12" tiles on 8" high bricks. I gorilla glued 6" marble boxes for my rosy which don't look quite as natural as the balanced on stone block tiles but it works plenty well for quick $1 or 2 per tile houses. I have some 3x8" slate tiles down 4" high stone supports for my baby python so I can peel individual ones up to see him without the whole thing. If I can I stack real, wild collected rock but the weight is so much more than just supporting flat tiles. Slate breaks occasionally if heated or wet frequently but eh $1 and now I have odd sized pieces to use. It files off easy if necessary for sharp edges or fit. The 12" tile had to be filed for the 12" wide 20g long with about 5 mins of effort.
