I have been doing quite a bit of reading on these guys and I am excited to have the chance to be working with one. Such a unique little creature. Yeah I had a great experience and the other animals he had for sale were also gorgeous. It was a bit hard to pick just one. I took some photos of the siblings if you have any interest.
sure, I'd definitely be interested in the pics. Thanks!

Re: New year, new snake.
Well the other day I walked into the guest room where Abbath was being quarantined to find him staring down the cat on top of his tank. Luckily the way the tank lid was pushed foward barred the cat any access to him, or he would have been in some trouble. After some modification, adding computer fans to keep him cool, he was upgraded to a new temporary enclosure. I decided to make my first reptile video to better capture it. https://youtu.be/KTMlDYdmKAc

Missed this one - beautiful snake. Great to see some different species on here, there's some great collections in the making.

Re: New year, new snake.
Awesome! I guess I missed this thread when it was started. How are you liking the little guy? Definitely my favorite genus I've ever kept.

Re: New year, new snake.
Thanks Danny. It seems they are not that uncommonly kept, probably the mpst common drymarchon in the hobby, but finding information on them is kind of trying. Finding information on indigos is easier as they are native to the US and a protected species. I thought about doing a video of my whole collection, even though half of it may be boring old ball pythons.
Thanks Em. He is definitely quickly becoming my favorite, don't tell the other snakes. I am planning on starting his adult digs this summer which i hope turns out half as nice as Loki's.
