Yeah, that's definitely a concern....dang....back to black!

I can always add my own light sources I'm sure. No reason to pay them for it when I can get it cbeaper on my own lol.

Mark me down for another fan of using the black cages. When I purchased my cages from Constrictors Northwest I selected black because of the reviews I read about urates staining the lighter colors. I've had mine for about five years and they still look great.
I did add lighting to my cages, but I have them on timers so the snakes have a regular light and darkness schedules.
