Looks great! How do you bond the acrylic pieces to each other?

Hi cranwill & Xetox

Acrylic is bonded with a solvent that you just spread on the piece you are gluing, and press the joint together. The solvent actually breaks down the acrylic, and the two pieces fuse together. If you do make your own, make sure to use at least 3/8" material to avoid bowing if you plan on having a high humidity environment.

Take care,
Tom McCarthy

Hi Kathy

I buy my Acrylic form a Acrylic supplier in my home town. However they do not sell to the public you need to have your own business to buy from them.

Take care
Tom

Hi Everyone & moosehead,

I have finished my heating & humidify test on my new acrylic cage.
The heat in the top of the cage is 80 to 85 and in the bottom it is 73 to 78.
The heat mats have rheostats added to them. There is one on the bottom and one on the back of the cage which you can see. I have been keeping the humidity at 75 % or higher.

Here are some pictures of the cage.

So if anyone is interested in one I will be selling them now.
I can make other sizes to. You can see more pictures on my website of this cage.
Just e-mail me for a price & shipping.

Thanks
Tom McCarthy
