Corns are very different in coloration when they are hatchlings than at maturity and there can be a lot of variation even within one color type. A young snow corn can look white or ivory with pale pink to purple saddles that may tend to have yellow borders. Based on what varieties of corn are common, and how different the babies look from adults, a snow corn may be what you saw - especially for that price from a pet store. These females are about 7 months old in the photos and the ivory background can appear more yellowish with age, while the saddles may range from more ivory colored to more reddish purple in different strains. Hope this helps - good luck finding what you are looking for --

Both females in the photos are snow corns. They are sisters and one is quite a bit more pink than the other. The one in the lower pic has more yellow coming into her background color. It typically starts on the chin and along the neck and gets darker with age. Our male snow is quite a bit pinker (photo below) and adult snows tend to have a whitish background, but the saddles can vary through ivory, cream color, yellowish, greenish, pink or pink with greenish edges.
