Had four from the Chrome to Shaft pairing that have this smokey faded back color going on.

Thanks! They are all mellow as can be. I can reach right in and pick them right up. No hissing, huffing, puffing or strikes. Compared to Reds it like night and day in their temperament. They are all laid back eaters to. None of them strike they just go up wrap and start eating.

Re: Black Blood baies are here!
That's awesome. My red has calmed down quite a bit. Still a very nervous snake, but can be handled. I've noticed them same feed response with him. As sketchy as he can be, he's the only snake I'd feel comfortable setting a rat down bare handed. He absolutely does not strike. He eats at his leisure during the night.

All but two are very shy eaters. I have to leave the food in the cage and leave the room or they won't eat. The other two don't care and will start eating while i am in the room feeding the bigger snakes. Both the adult males are mellow eaters, but the females will nail it before it hits the cage floor.

Re: Black Blood baies are here!
Mine wouldn't eat till I left the room for the longest time. But I still have to feed in the dark and leave him be. TV can be on but no bright lights.

Re: Black Blood baies are here!
i've picked up within the conversation that red are more nervous and or aggressive than the black bloods. Can you give me a comparison between the black bloods and SSTP?
