Obviously that's up to You and You're decision, but I will say that I'm 16 going on 17 and she is my third snake. It is very different holding her to opposed to a boa or corn snake. However, it's very exciting to hold her and I'm also learning how to use a hook by using a diy one a made to help get her out of the tub. I think it's a great learning experience. I'd just make sure they have some experience holding terrestrial snakes first. My biggest fear is if she nips me I might pull back out of instinct and damage her teeth. I'm trying my best to stay calm and let it happen, but I still flinch when she strikes. Luckily she has yet to actually bite me. Anyways, yes in my opinion they would be fine with the snake as long as they have some experience and/or Your help. That's just my 2¢ though

Also, it varies from snake to snake obviously. She is a tamer one, but the male the guy had was apparently way nippier. I would talk to the breeder or whoever is selling them to see how each individual is compaired to others, or buy a young cb, because I hear they are easier and quicker to tame.
